Best for close family, wedding party, or guests who want zero travel on the wedding day.

City Hotels

Hotel Orientale, Brindisi

€€–€€€

25–35 min drive

A proper city-center hotel in Brindisi, good for guests who want restaurants, cafés, the port, the train station, and airport access nearby. The hotel is in the historic center and has a private monitored garage with EV charging.

Boutique Hotel Executive Inn, Brindisi

€€–€€€

25–35 min drive

Modern boutique hotel in the historic center of Brindisi. A good choice for guests who prefer a clean, urban hotel base rather than a countryside stay. Address: Via Pozzo Traiano 24, Brindisi.

Palazzo Virgilio, Brindisi

€€–€€€

25–35 min drive

A 4-star city hotel near Brindisi's historic center, train station, and port. Useful for guests arriving by train or staying only a night or two around the wedding.

Beach Hotels & Residences

Aquarium Residence, San Pietro in Bevagna

€€–€€€

40–50 min drive

A seaside hotel/residence-style option in San Pietro in Bevagna, with restaurant and private beach facilities. Best for guests turning the wedding into a beach holiday on the Ionian coast.

Saint Matthew B&B e Appartamenti, San Pietro in Bevagna

€€

40–50 min drive

A practical B&B/apartment option close to the beach, with both rooms and apartments. Good for families or friend groups who prefer more space and a self-catering setup.

Hotel dei Bizantini, San Pietro in Bevagna

€€

40–50 min drive

A relaxed hotel/village-style stay with lido, beach bar, lounge bar, animation, and private parking. Better for guests who want a simple beach-focused stay rather than a boutique hotel.

Airbnb & Villa Areas

San Pietro in Bevagna Area

€€

40–50 min drive

Best for guests who want beach houses, villas, and apartments near the Ionian coast. This area works well for groups staying several nights, but guests should have a car or pre-book wedding-night transport. San Pietro in Bevagna is known for beaches, local restaurants, shops, and nearby natural areas.

Adriatic Coast: Torre Santa Sabina / Torre Guaceto / Carovigno Coast

€€–€€€

30–45 min drive

Good for guests who want a seaside base closer to Brindisi and the Adriatic side. Torre Guaceto is a protected coastal area with dunes, wetlands, sandy beaches, and small inlets, while Torre Santa Sabina and nearby coastal villages offer more classic holiday rentals.

Ostuni / White City Area

€€–€€€

35–45 min drive

Best for guests making a longer Puglia trip. Recommend this for people who want scenic streets, rooftop dinners, countryside villas, trulli, or holiday homes. The tradeoff is parking and transport: Ostuni's historic center is best explored on foot, and guests should plan wedding-night transfers carefully.

Airbnb & Villa Tips

Before booking a villa or apartment, please check that it has air conditioning in every bedroom, parking, a clear address or Google Maps pin, and a realistic plan for late-night transport after the wedding. For countryside villas, confirm road access, number of real bedrooms, bathroom count, pool availability, and whether the host can help arrange taxis or private drivers.

In Italy, short-term rentals and tourist accommodations should display a CIN — Codice Identificativo Nazionale — in their listing. We recommend choosing listings with clear registration details.

Getting Around

Renting a Car in Puglia

Renting a Car in Puglia

Brindisi Airport · Book Early

A car is the easiest way to explore Puglia, especially if staying outside Brindisi city. Brindisi Airport has on-site rental desks including Locauto, Sicily by Car, Europcar, Hertz, Avis, Sixt, Budget, Drivalia, Autovia, Maggiore, and Felirent. The venue itself notes that the region is ideal for car exploration, offers free parking, and is around 15 minutes from Brindisi Airport. Tip: Book early for July, especially if you need an automatic car. Choose a compact car for old-town streets, add full insurance, and bring the physical credit card used for booking.

Recommended Rental Approach

BDS Airport · Simplest Option

For guests who want the easiest pickup, choose a well-known airport provider and avoid off-site shuttle rentals unless the price difference is worth it. Locauto says its Brindisi Airport office is near the arrivals gate, in the rental-car building close to the terminal, while Enterprise describes the rental area as a 2–3 minute walk from arrivals with no shuttle needed. Tip: Check the opening hours against your flight time and confirm after-hours return rules.

No Car? Venue Airport Transfers

Brindisi & Bari Airports

Staying only a few days and don't want to rent a car? Antica Masseria Martuccio offers airport pick-up and drop-off for a reasonable fee, so you can skip the rental and still arrive easily. Just let the couple know your flight details in advance so we can arrange it for you.
